Memory is a very important thing for us, especially the elderly. However, it is not always easy for the elderly to keep their own memorable stories. HKMU Student Affairs Office is now organizing the “Memory Box” Service-Learning programme for the Elderly. We recruited 41 students to join the volunteer team. The team will bring love and cares to the elderly through phone / online interviews, and write a memoir for elderly people about their life stories and expectations.
Meanwhile, students can help sort out the photos of the elderly, deliver the Mid Autumn Festival gift packs and arrange filming interviews with the elderly if the epidemic gets better. All records and precious photos made and collected will be deposited in the “Memory Box” for the elderly.
