Since the Alliance establishment, HKMU and the Auxiliary Medical Service have organized a number of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses. Starting from the 2024/25 academic year, HKMU has implemented a mandatory MHFA course for all year one face-to-face undergraduate students. The aim of the course is to equip students with the knowledge to identify early symptoms of mental disease and proactively seek help before their mental health situation deteriorates. By the end October, nearly 400 students and volunteers had successfully completed the courses and become qualified mental health first aiders.

In addition, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service and HKMU have jointly organized a practical mental health course, attracting more than 1,500 students to learn stress and emotional management skills.
