The MTR Student Travel Scheme offers concessionary fares to full-time day course students aged 25 or below. Eligible students can apply directly through the MTR Online Application Platform. There is no need for a hardcopy form or University endorsement. If you are eligible and wish to apply, please note the following:

  1. Applicants are strongly recommended to view the lazy pack and tutorial video before completing the online application.
  2. Applications should be submitted ONLINE via the MTR website or MTR Mobile App.
  3. Applicants are required to upload a valid HKMU Student Identity Card. For new applicants without a student identity card at the time of application, the MTR will accept the Enrollment Certificate of Academic Year 2024/2025 issued by the university as a special arrangement.
