The Intangible Cultural Heritage of Hong Kong refers to the living heritage practices, traditions, knowledge, and skills that are passed down from generation to generation within the local community. It encompasses a diverse range of cultural expressions, including performing arts, craftsmanship, rituals, festivals, oral traditions, and social practices.
Mr. Calvin WONG, A&SS Alumnus, is the key coordinator of the event【非遺六月】from 8 – 10 June 2024. We are honour to invite Mr. Calvin WONG and Mr. Mac KWOK, also an A&SS Alumnus, to be our guest speakers and facilitators at the HKMU Career Check-in 2023/24, introducing the work of "Intangible Cultural Heritage" in Hong Kong, sharing their career journey and working experiences with current students.
Our student will not only able to gain career insights from their Alumni Mentors, but also enjoy a World Cultural Heritage Conservation Workshop and a Mini Flower Plaque Workshop to craft their own mini flower plaque and immerse themselves in this ancient art form!
