(Calling for applications) MTR “Ride to Success” Scholarship Programme

The MTR “Ride to Success” Scholarship Programme aims to recognise and reward local students with commendable academic performance, a passion for community service, and a keen interest in the railway sector.

 

Awards

25 scholarships will be awarded to local undergraduate students from tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, who are in the first-year of study pursuing the first bachelor's degree related to engineering, transport and logistics in the 2024/25 Academic Year. The scholarship will cover up to the full tuition fee of the eligible undergraduate programmes, capped at the amount of the annual tuition fee of UGC-funded degree programmes. The Scholarship is renewable for a maximum of 4 years, contingent upon fulfilling the stipulated requirements.

Eligible HKMU students from the following 10 particular programmes can apply. Please check your student email and the MTR website for details.

  • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Building Services Engineering and Sustainable Development
  • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil and Environmental Engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electronic and Computer Engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Testing and Certification
  • Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science with Honours in Science (STEM)
  • Bachelor of Science with Honours in Science (STEAM)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Aviation Services Management
  • Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Global Marketing and Supply Chain Management
