HKEX Foundation Scholarships

HKEX Foundation offers two scholarships to the Hong Kong Metropolitan University starting from the 2021/22 Academic Year. The HKEX Foundation Scholarship recognises students' academic excellence in the fields of business, while the HKEX Foundation Scholarship for Biotechnology and Innovation is awarded to outstanding students in science-related programmes with achievements in the area of innovation, science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Who's Eligible?

Applicants should be full-time Bachelor's degree students, studying in stipulated programmes leading to their first degree;
Applicants must be local students;
New or continuing students should have achieved a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of not less than 3.3 in the Autumn Term of the 2024/25 Academic Year; and
For both scholarships, awardees cannot receive any other scholarships concurrently during the current academic year

Applicants should submit the online application form together with supporting documents to SAO during the application period.
Application Deadline: 6 April 2025 (Sunday)

Notification of Result

The result and payment arrangement will be announced via e-mail by end of June 2025.
