Hong Kong Metropolitan University Sports Awards Scheme – Outstanding Athletes of the Year

The HKMU Sports Awards Scheme – Outstanding Athletes of the Year aims to retain continuing students, and to award students' achievements and efforts representing HKMU to compete in competitions in the tertiary education community.

Eligibility and application

• Continuing students pursuing full-time bachelor's degree or sub-degree programmes at HKMU;

• Obtained outstanding achievements in sports and demonstrated contributions to HKMU;

• Have participated in competitions organized by the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK) / have represented Hong Kong in World University Games / World University Championships / Asian University Championships / other renowned local or international sports competitions; 

• Met the CGPA requirement of 2.0 or above in academic year 2023/24; and

• Met the academic requirements for the University Scholarship Schemes.

Important notes

• Applications with incorrect information, no relevant supporting documents of sports achievements or late applications will NOT be accepted.

• Should any dispute arise, the decision of SAO shall be final.
