Fitness Introductory Course

Fitness Introductory Course provides the basic knowledge of physical fitness training and the use of fitness equipment in the HKMU Gymnasium. HKMU Gymnasium provides a safe environment where students can exercise in pursuit of their personal health and fitness goals. Students will be eligible to register as a user of HKMU Gymnasium and/or Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) Fitness Rooms upon completion of the course.
 

The Fitness Introductory Course (FIC) includes one hour of theory and two hours of practical training. Students must first attend the theory session before the practical one. To fully complete the course, both the theory and practical sessions must be finished.

Important Notes

  • Limited quota on first-come-first-served basis, higher priority will be given to non-local students.
  • A separate confirmation email will be sent to successful registrants by 14 Oct 2024.
  • Only successful registrants will receive confirmation email.
  • The registration fee must be paid within 3 days of receiving the confirmation email to secure your spot.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled class time.
  • Classes are non-transferable, and fees paid are non-refundable.
  • No class changes or swaps are permitted.
  • Students should be aware of their own health conditions and consider whether it is suitable for them to participate in any sports activity. If in doubt, please consult a physician before starting any exercises.
  • Should any dispute arise, the decision of SAO shall be final.
