The “Tie-dye and Alumni Entrepreneurship Sharing”, jointly organized by the School of Open Learning and “Rapture Handmade”, was successfully held on August 17, 2024. The event attracted students who were interested in dyeing crafts and entrepreneurship.

Ms. Helen Ho, an alumna of HKMU and the founder of Rapture Handmade, introduced and showcased various tie-dye techniques and artworks during the workshop.

Under the instructors’ meticulous guidance, students completed their own exquisite pieces. After the tie-dye session, Helen shared the challenges and opportunities she faced during her entrepreneurial journey and talked about how to strike a balance between entrepreneurship and life.

Students found the event enriching, noting that it offered relaxation amidst their busy lives and an understanding of the current entrepreneurial landscape.
