Updates on Teaching and Learning Arrangements for 2022 Spring Term for Distance Learning Programmes (28 Jan 2022)

Further to announcement of 24 January 2022, the University has reviewed the latest development of the pandemic and decided to extend online teaching till 27 February 2022, as follows:

Tutorials will be delivered in online mode for the first four weeks of the Spring Term (i.e. 31 January–27 February). From 28 February onwards, if situation permits, tutorials will be delivered online, hybrid (i.e. face-to-face and online real-time simultaneously) or face-to-face with video recording for individual courses as determined by respective Schools. Schools/Course Coordinators will send information regarding the courses to students separately.

Laboratory sessions and Practicums will remain face-to-face as necessary and be delivered in small group face-to-face or a mix of online and face-to-face sessions as arranged by Schools. Please attend class according to instructions from respective Schools/Course Coordinators.

End-of-term examinations will remain unchanged and take the form of on-campus invigilated examinations. 

The University will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and provide further update in a timely manner in case of any changes. Please take good care of yourselves during this challenging time, stay vigilant and put health and hygiene as your top priority! Wish you success and happiness in the Year of the Tiger!
