The 2nd V-Power Recognition Ceremony was held on 31 July 2024. This year, 21 members received the awards in recognition of their outstanding performance in volunteer service over the year. Family members and close friends of the members were invited to join the ceremony to witness the joy. 

During the event, Professor Reggie Kwan, Provost of HKMU, delivered a speech to express his appreciation to students for their unwavering support of the School's volunteer initiatives throughout the past year. He commended their dedication to societal betterment by utilizing their free time for community service. Dr. Li Kam Cheong, Dean of SOL, congratulated the award recipients and encouraged them to continue to support the School's activities. He also highlighted the significance of broadening social networks and fostering personal development through continued engagement in these activities. 

Established in 2022, the V-Power Volunteer Team aims to provide relevant training and volunteer work opportunities for distance-learning and part-time students, enabling them to connect with other like-minded students and expand their social circles through volunteer activities.
