Ms Winnie Lam

Winnie is a passionate assistant lecturer who has made significant contributions to psychology and counselling. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK) and went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Hong Kong (HKU), further enhancing her expertise in the field.

Winnie is dedicated to promoting self-awareness and critical thinking among her students, believing these skills are essential for personal growth and success. Through engaging teaching methods, Winnie encourages her students to question, analyze, and evaluate ideas while exploring their own beliefs and values.

In addition to her commitment to teaching, Winnie has a rich working experience in both research and counselling. This practical involvement has provided her with valuable insights into the latest advancements and best practices in the field as well as enriches the learning experience for her students. She is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of thoughtful and engaged individuals, empowering them with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
