Dr Beatrice Lam

Biography

Dr Beatrice Lam received her PhD in sociology from The University of Manchester. Her expertise is in the study of social processes that produce and maintain social inequality, especially in the areas of education and the family. She is now working on research projects that address issues on employability of higher education graduates as well as the construction of 'carers' in old age care policy, among others.
