The Programme has been selected by the EDB for the Pilot Project on the Development of Applied Degree Programmes, blending theories and practices required in testing, inspection and certification industries, with substantial internships opportunities and preparing graduates usefully employed as all-rounders in the industries.
HKSQ accredited: Two courses in this programme have been accredited by Hong Kong Society for Quality (HKSQ)(香港品質學會). Our graduates who have successfully completed the following two courses in our programme,
and with 3 years of related laboratory experience, can apply for registration as Certified Laboratory Quality Specialist to obtain the professional qualification.
Practical-route admissions: This applied degree programme offers flexible entry route based on the assessment that follows the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) system . Students who enrolled in JSSU61 and passed the Certificate course in Testing and Certification (CTC) offered by HKMU SST are eligible to be admitted to the programme via practical-route admissions.
