Biography

Jeff Au Yeung received his B. Eng. (First Class Honours), M. Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2003, 2005 and 2011 respectively. His areas of interest include Digital Video Processing, Multimedia Security, Automatic Speech Recognition, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Science and Technology, The Hong Kong Metropolitan University. From 2013 to 2021. He worked in HKUSPACE Community College as a College Senior Lecturer (Programme Coordinator of Associate of Engineering since 2017). He established the Higher Diploma in Data Science programme in HKUSPACE CC in 2019. From 2015 to 2018, Dr. Au Yeung was invited as a consultant in TFI Digital Media Limited which focus on applied research in state-of-art video streaming technology. Dr. Au Yeung is a senior member of IEEE.
