Biography

Dr Chan graduated from City University of Hong Kong with a degree with honors in Applied Chemistry. He then completed his PhD study in Environmental Biology in the same university. Dr Chan has good experience in the Testing and Certification industry, and taught subjects in applied sciences in multiple higher education institutes in Hong Kong. His research interests include bioremediation of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) by microalgae and applications of analytical technologies in environmental monitoring.
