Staff Profile

Dr. Wilson Hon-Wai Chu graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1988. He also obtained MSE degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mathematical Science from Johns Hopkins University in 1990 and 1992, respectively. He earned his PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1996. Dr. Chu was a C.W. Chu Foundation Scholar from 1985 to 1988.

Dr. Chu is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of Tau Beta Phi. He served in the Executive Committee of the IEEE Hong Kong Section from 1999 to 2016.
