Biography
Dr. WANG Weiming received his Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining Hong Kong Metropolitan University, he served as an Assistant Researcher at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology from 2014 to 2015 and gained valuable industry experience by working in high-tech companies for several years. He obtained the Best Application Paper Award at the 12th International Conference on Ubiquitous Robots and Ambient Intelligence (URAI) in 2015 and has published about fifty articles in refereed journals and conference proceedings. He is currently an Associate Editor of The Visual Computer.
