Biography
Dr. LI Yaohan is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Construction and Quality Management at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU). She joined HKMU as a Lecturer in 2022. Dr. Li obtained her BEng(Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China in 2015, followed by an MSc in Civil Engineering with Seismic Design from University College London in 2016. In 2021, she completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and continued her research in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Her research interests encompass life-cycle management, hazard mitigation, long-term risk analysis, resilience assessment, and decision-making. Dr. Li has secured several research grants as a Principal Investigator and has collaborated on various projects. She has served as session Chairs at international conferences such as IALCCE, HUIXIAN International Forum, ASCE-ICVRAM-ISUMA, published in top-tier journals such as Reliability Engineering & System Safety, Structure and Infrastructure Engineering, and is an active reviewer for several prestigious journals.
