Enterprise Computing Postgraduate Students won 2nd runners-up at a Mainframe Programming Contest

Dr. Carlin Chu with the postgraduate students Kwong Kan-lam, Yeung Yan-ting and Cheung Ka-yau, three postgraduate Computing students took third place in the IBM Mainframe Programming Contest held in Beijing for their business system which facilitates bidding for advertising slots with smartphones.

學院電腦糸企業深造文憑學生鄺勤霖、楊恩霆及張嘉祐，由朱振輝博士帶領下，在北京舉行的IBM大型主機技術應用大賽中獲得三等獎。公開大學之隊伍在三個多月的時間內設計及編寫了一個智能手機競投廣告時段之商業系統。廣告公司及客戶能透過競投之模式更有效地分配資源，達到雙贏的效果。是次比賽之評核範圍包括電腦程式之完整性及其糸統之市場潛力、定位方式及應用性之分析報告。是次活動的部份經費由時富教育基金贊助。
