简历

蔡炎城博士工程师是香港都会学土木工程专业课程主任。 2013年获得香港大学结构工程博士学位，2014-2020年在工程界和香港大学从事结构工程实践和研究。 2020年7月任香港理工大学研究助理教授。 2022年8月加入香港都会大学担任助理教授。蔡博士是英国与香港特许工程师，是英国土木工程师学会、香港工程师学会与美国土木工程师协会会员。他也是英国土木工程学报-《土木工程》的编辑部成员、英国结构工程师学会研究委员会与青年委员会委员。蔡博士于2018年获得香港工程师学会青年工程师工程理论创新应用大奖；2017年获得香港工程师学会结构工程分会与英国结构工程师学会联会研究应用优胜奖等。蔡博士目前主要的研究领域涉及金属结构稳定与节点连接性能、金属结构的火灾作用机理与耐火性能、高强钢管混凝土结构性能与分析理论等。
