Stockholm Challenge Award 2000

The Stockholm Challenge Award 2000 is one of the world’s most fascinating IT awards for Information Technology projects. This year, it received 612 entries from various parts of North America, Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia. OUHK Electronic Library together with Project MIKSIKE from Estonia and Project CISCO Networking Academies from Malaysia have become the three joint winners of the Education category, in which the competition is also the keenest.

President Prof. Tam Sheung-wai and Director of Technology Development Prof. Leung Chun-ming came to Stockholm to receive the Stockholm Challenge Award on behalf of the OUHK.
