| Why HKMU? |
The Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) is an energetic and young local institution of higher education in Hong Kong and we are characterized by our innovative and diversified academic programmes. The OUHK was established by the Government in 1989 and our number of part-time students reaches 9,000. In 2001, we introduced our first full-time face-to-face programmes for secondary school leavers and the total number of full-time graduates is close to 10,000 currently. Other than broad-based curriculum, our full-time students can enjoy fruitful university and campus lives through various internship and exchange opportunities as well as public competition and extra-curricular learning experiences.
