Prof. Paul Lam Kwan-sing assumed office as President of the OUHK on 1 April 2021. Taking this opportunity, Council Chairman of the OUHK, Mr Michael Wong Yick-kam, and President Prof. Paul Lam Kwan-sing met with the media together for the first time on 15 April, to share their vision and future plan on the University's development. At the gathering, Mr Wong said that Prof. Lam was appointed as President of the OUHK after a strict selection process of one and a half year. He believed that Prof. Lam will, with his ample experience in academic development and university administration, lead the OUHK to scale new heights. Prof. Lam hopes that he can further enhance the quality of the academic and administrative teams of the OUHK so as to lead the university to attain a higher level of excellence.
