Student team from School of Science and Technology garners Third Prize at Huawei ICT Competition Hong Kong

Three students from the School of Science and Technology, Liu Yuhang, Jiang Haodong and Imran Mohamed Maheen Mohamed, teamed up to join the Huawei ICT Competition 2024–2025 in Hong Kong. Following the signing of a Memorandum of Intent between Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) and the Asian Gemmological Institute and Laboratory (AGIL) in July to jointly promote the gemstone industry through education, training, testing, certification, research and industry development, HKMU recently held the “International Gemmological Conference 2024 and Launch Ceremony of Applied Degree Programme in Gemmology and Jewellery Studies”.
