Business students claim second spot in Future HR Talents Hackathon

Business students Suja Khajum Limbu, Samir Kharel, Winnie Huang Rong and Sophia Liu Linfei represented HKMU in the Future HR Talents Hackathon, organised by the HKMA Human Capital Management Society, a member of The Hong Kong Management Association. By analysing a real-life human resources case, the students identified the challenges facing a company and offered a unique, effective and innovative solution. Their outstanding performance earned them the first runner-up position in the competition. They were also given a cash prize and a job-shadowing experience....

Business student team shines with second place in the HKGCC Business Case Competition

A team of four business students, Agnes Ho Yan-tung, Noa Wong, Arianna Cui Yuan and Myra Lee Yan-hei, won the first runner-up title in the HKGCC Business Case Competition 2024/25, organised by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC). HKMU and HKIAA join forces to offer an academic programme with commercial pilot training, marking the first major collaboration between Hong Kong's first UAS and industry

Since 2022, HKMU has partnered with the HKIAA to offer a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Aviation Services Management programme. Starting in the 2024/25 academic year, a new “Cadet Pilot” concentration will be introduced, allowing students to obtain a Commercial Pilot Licence in addition to their degree through the HKIAA's 14-month Cadet Pilot Programme, which comprises theoretical knowledge instruction in Hong Kong and flying training in the United States. In co-operation with various airlines, including Hong Kong Airlines, HK Express, Greater Bay Airlines and Hong Kong Air Cargo, the HKIAA will organise preliminary interviews for the students, who may be given priority consideration for a conditional job offer. The first batch of students is expected to commence their training in May 2025....
