Hong Kong Metropolitan University and the Cheerful Hands jointly launched the first university-based free tutorial services, “HKMU Free Tutorial Services”, for primary and secondary students from grassroots families. The kick-off ceremony and the first tutorial session was held on 22 November. The “HKMU Free Tutorial Services” scheme aims to provide free tutorial services to grassroots students from Primary 5 to Secondary 3. HKMU students can gain experience in community service through the two two-hour tutorial sessions each week by offering them homework and academic supports.
