English Language Teaching & Studies student seizes Gold Award in Outstanding Prospective Teachers Competition

Final year student Ng Hoi-man Jenny from the double degree programme in English Language Teaching and Studies won the top prize in the 7th Hong Kong Outstanding Prospective Teachers Award jointly organized by The Hong Kong Prospective Teachers Association and The Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association.
The competition aims to recognise prospective teachers who have excellent teaching ability and a passion for education. Jenny went through two selection rounds including video presentation and microteaching. Her excellent teaching skills impressed the judging panel which consists of principals of secondary and primary schools and kindergartens.She was finally shortlisted as one of the Gold Award winners.
