PENG Chen, a Year 3 student from the Bachelor of Education with Honours in English Language Teaching and Bachelor of English Language Studies with Honours programme participated in the Toastmasters International Speech Contest (Division O of District 89) on 24 April and won the third place in the Mandarin Speech Contest.

Organized by Toastmasters International, a non-profit educational organization, Toastmasters International Speech Contest aims to enhance participants' communication, presentation and leadership skills. PENG Chen first won the first place with her speech “My 2020 Summary Report” in the speech contest of Area O5 in Division O of District 89. She then entered the contest of Division O of District 89. With her excellent speech “Release myself from anxiety”, she won the third place in the Mandarin Speech Contest.
