On campus development, HKMU was granted the approval by the Town Planning Board to construct a new campus on a site in Ho Man Tin, which enables the University to enhance the campus environment and facilities to support its expansion and the whole-person development of students. Thanks to Prof. Lam's guidance, HKMU obtained the approval from the Education Bureau recently for becoming Hong Kong's first University of Applied Sciences, which is a testament to the University's outstanding achievements in promoting quality education in Hong Kong as well as a recognition of the University's unique position in bringing positive impacts on both the academic community and society.”
