Details:
Graduate Wong Fei from the Cinematic Design and Photographic Digital Art programme participated in the 15th Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival – Local Competition earlier. After the first round of selection and interviews, he was shortlisted as one of the twenty candidates to receive subsidy for the production of a short film. His work “Holiday” was highly commented by a panel of professional judges, and finally awarded the Fresh Wave Award as a recognition.

The winning piece “Holiday” is about the challenges faced by two young brothers who need to complete the housework ordered by their mother during holiday. Audiences can understand how children see the world.

The Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival takes place annually with an aim to promote and encourage local short film production, and to discover and nurture young talents.
