A Chinese fiction titled Lotus Flower, the final year project written by graduate Lau Siu-fong from the Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Creative Writing and Film Arts programme, recently got published in Hong Kong Literary, one of the most prestigious local literary magazines. Under the supervision of Dr Rebecca Leung Mo-ling, Head of Creative Arts cum Associate Professor, Siu-fong utilized the stream of consciousness writing technique to create the fiction Lotus Flower, bringing readers into the heart of the protagonist. The fiction tells how the relationship between the protagonist and her mother affects her childhood development and her perception of affection.
