Plate Championship (third place in overall standings)

Details:
The HKMU cricket team, formed by 14 students from the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration (B&A) and the School of Science and Technology, competed in the Joint University Tapeball Cricket Sixes for the second time and entered the Plate Final after two exciting matches. In the end, the team knocked off the target and won the Plate Championship, standing in third place among eight local tertiary institutions.

The cricket team was an initiative by B&A to foster cultural exchange and inclusion by introducing students to one of the most popular sports in the world. Dr Jimmy Chan from the School serves as the team's coordinator, while Dr Hamid Khurshid and Dr Faisal Khurshid are mentors.
