The Student Affairs Office hosted the Fountain of Knowledge (FoK) Networking Dinner, the last session and signature FoK event in the current academic year, on the evening of 14 April. The event was attended by more than 60 external guests, faculty members and students. Ms Natalie Chung Sum-yue, a member of the Green Tech Fund Assessment Committee of the HKSAR Government, was invited to join the dinner and share her experience during her expedition to Antarctica in February this year, knowledge of climate conservation, how to enrich university life, etc.
Fountain of Knowledge is a platform for students to expand their personal network, practise English, and enrich their non-academic knowledge in diverse areas outside the classroom. All eight FoK sessions this year were designed and coordinated by the HKMU Student Ambassadors. During the process, they learnt from professionals in different fields, developed their organisational and communication skills, and became familiar with various aspects of business etiquette.
