HKMU launches new career readiness programme to enhance students' soft skills in the workplace
In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR, HKMU holds a flag-raising ceremony today (1 July).

Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) held a flag-raising ceremony this morning (1 July) on its Jockey Club Campus to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
The ceremony was attended by over 100 participants, including members of the University Council, senior management, staff and students, to show their pride in the achievements and prosperity of the Motherland and Hong Kong.
As a member of the higher education sector, HKMU is committed to equipping students with all-round education, valuable skills and a mature mindset, and to helping them discover and realize their full potential. The University also strives to nurture them to be upstanding members of the community with a strong sense of social responsibility to contribute to the development of the Motherland and Hong Kong.
To promote national education, HKMU raises the national flag every day and holds flag-raising ceremonies every Monday and on other momentous occasions, including New Year's Day, HKSAR Establishment Day and National Day. All students and staff are welcome to join.
