HKMU hosts 35th Anniversary Banquet
Striving for excellence and going beyond limits
In commemoration of the 27th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR, HKMU holds a flag-raising ceremony today (1 July).
To celebrate the 27th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) held a flag-raising ceremony on its Jockey Club campus this morning (1 July).
Close to 200 members of HKMU, including Members of the University Council, as well as University management, staff and students, attended the ceremony and sincerely wished Hong Kong continued growth and prosperity.
To cultivate students' national consciousness, the University raises the national flag on campus every day and holds flag-raising ceremonies every Monday morning and on other momentous occasions, such as New Year's Day, HKSAR Establishment Day and National Day. All students and staff are welcome to attend the ceremonies.
