Student's creative art pieces selected in overseas competitions

Howard Duan Hantian, James Fong Cheuk-yeung and Lee Chun-leung from the School of Nursing and Health Studies (N&HS) partnered with Chen Shujun of the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration (B&A) and designed an innovative product of gerontechnology — a smart pillow named Entrance of Your Dream, which aims to enhance the sleep quality of the elderly. With this design, the team then participated in the Hong Kong Applied Gerontech Innovation Challenge (HKAGIC) and stood out among other teams, winning a Gold Award in the Tertiary Group with a HK$5,000 cash prize.
HKAGIC is organised by Tung Hua College, aiming to enhance the quality of life for the elderly and their caregivers through the application of gerontology and innovative gerontechnology, and to foster students' learning motivation and practical skills.
