    HKMU Career Fair attracts over 130 organisations, helping students explore professional development opportunities in Hong Kong and beyond

    Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) successfully hosted its annual Career Fair from 18 to 20 March, with the participation of over 130 enterprises and organisations from more than 30 industries.     To commemorate the 35th anniversary of Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU), the “Metropolitan Cup” – a 3x3 basketball tournament – was held from 22 to 23 June.     Two HKMU students awarded For Our Future Scholarship

    Nursing student Cherie Fung Pui-wing and physiotherapy student Tammy Tam Ka-hei each received the For Our Future Scholarship from the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation. Cherie is an archery coach who is devoted to promoting mental health through teaching archery to others, while Tammy has established the “Fighting Cancer Platform” with her own anti-cancer experience to support patients by organising events and workshops and providing relevant information. With their outstanding academic performance and active participation in community service, they stood out among 250 applicants from 13 local institutions. They were each awarded a scholarship of HK$50,000 and the opportunity to participate in a Beijing exchange trip....
