The HKMU Trilingual Toastmasters Club formed by students of the School of Education and Languages (E&L) attained the Distinguished Toastmasters Club label for 2022–2023 awarded by Toastmasters International. The recognition is part of Toastmasters International's Distinguished Club Program, which sets ten goals for individual clubs to achieve during the year. It requires that club members keep making progress in its education programmes, the club maintain a healthy membership base, club officers receive sufficient training and club administration be properly managed. A Distinguished Club must have achieved five of the ten goals....

Electronic and Computer Engineering student's innovative project receives one more accolade
Electronic and Computer Engineering student Ramsha Minhaj took her invention Brain Computer Interface Feedback System for Dementia Patients to Innovate for Future 2023, and it received a Certificate of Excellence under the Tertiary Stream.
