Over 1,110 HKMU students stand out in the Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme
A record 1,118 HKMU full-time students were honoured in the HKSAR Government's Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) this academic year, receiving a total of HK$19.1 million in scholarships. They were recognised across five award categories: 253 received the Outstanding Performance Scholarship, 585 the Reaching Out Award, 158 the Talent Development Scholarship, 52 the Endeavour Scholarship, and 70 the Best Progress Award. Creative arts student wins Gold at the International Taiwan Postar Award
Icarus Wang Peng, from the Creative Advertising and Media Design programme, took his creative artworks to the International Taiwan Postar Award 2024. Under the competition theme “Embracing Differences”, one of his artworks, “Music Unites Us”, won the Gold Award and a cash prize of NT$30,000. He also received the Judges' Special Award for his artwork “Capture”, and Merit Awards for “Voice of Peace” and “Together”....
