OUHK main campus time capsule unearthed

The construction of the permanent campus of the OUHK was funded by the Government in 1992, and the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony was held in December 1994. To commemorate the construction of the permanent campus, a time capsule ceremony was also held on the same occasion to leave behind precious memories. The capsule contained historic and valuable items contributed by the officiating guests, OU community and representatives of prestigious organizations in Hong Kong. It was buried in the main campus later and set to open in 2020.

The Unearthing Ceremony of the Main Campus’s Time Capsule was held earlier at which President Prof. Yuk-Shan Wong, Provost Prof. Reggie Kwan and Vice President (Resources & Development) Prof. Lui Yu-hon were invited to officiate. All items will be put on display on campus later.
