HKMU launches new career readiness programme to enhance students' soft skills in the workplace

Details:
In view of the continued spread of COVID-19, the School of Nursing and Health Studies organized a meaningful activity “Fight Against Virus in Unity and Love 2020” in March. A total of 4,000 bags of “COVID-19 Protection Pack”, comprising various kinds of protective items and health information cards designed by nursing students, were prepared and will be donated to the non-profit organization St. James' Settlement and five elderly nursing homes, helping the people in need.
The packaging work was arranged with strong support from President Prof. Wong Yuk-shan, Provost Prof. Reggie Kwan Ching-ping, Vice President (Resources and Development) Prof. Lui Yu-hon, Vice President (Students and Support) Prof. Tong Chong-sze, Acting Dean of School of Nursing and Health Studies Prof. Linda Lee Yin-king and a group of nursing students and alumni. They helped to pack the face masks and get the protection packs ready for donation.
