Student's creative art pieces selected in overseas competitions

Details:
Lau Yin-yi, a student from the Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Professional Accounting programme, was named the 2021 Outstanding College Student at the inaugural Outstanding College Students Election.
Organized by the Junior Chamber International City Hong Kong, the Outstanding College Students Election 2021 invited all local tertiary education institutions to nominate students to join a leadership training programme. Through a series of training camps, community service activities, corporate visits and public speaking contests, participants were able to hone their leadership skills. At the end of the programme, a team of independent judges selected 10 student whom they felt had demonstrated the most exceptional leadership qualities as the year's Outstanding College Students.
In its first year, the programme received more than 100 applications by students from 35 higher education institutions, with the OUHK's Lau Yin-yi outperforming her fellow contestants to earn the accolade of Outstanding College Student.
