The HKMU School of Education and Languages (E&L) has collaborated with the Hong Kong Teachers Drama Association Limited, Hong Kong Creative Educators Organization and the Fourth Apple Foundation Limited to organise the Creative Drama Festival 2024. The event aims to promote Chinese idiom learning among primary and secondary students through drama, giving them a deeper insight into Chinese culture. An award ceremony cum drama performance was held on 19 May on campus with an overwhelming attendance of over 400 teachers, students and parents from primary and secondary schools.

In the ceremony, a group of year one E&L students created two drama versions of the Chinese idiom story “三人成虎 (Woozle Effect)” and performed them on stage. The show drew rousing applause from the audience.
