To welcome new students to join the OUHK family, the Student Affairs Office organized orientation activities and campus visit between 14 and 25 September. All freshmen were invited to write down their wishes or dreams on the folded paper airplanes to imply the start of a new chapter at OUHK as well as a fruitful campus life ahead.

To encourage the freshmen to reach their goals, a time capsule ceremony was held on 28 September, with President Prof. Yuk-Shan Wong, Vice President (Students and Support) Prof. Tong Chong-sze, student representatives from the Students’ Union and Societies putting the paper airplanes in a time capsule, which will be re-opened in the year 2024.
