International Conference on Adult Education and Lifelong Learning
An International Conference on Adult Education and Lifelong Learning took place at HKMU, co-organised by LiPACE and the East Asia Federation for Adult Education (EAFAE). Held in Hong Kong for the first time, the two-day conference brought together around 40 scholars and professionals involved with adult education from around the Asia-Pacific region.
First post-pandemic GBA tour
The University was delighted to run its first post-pandemic tour to the Greater Bay Area (GBA) for outstanding student leaders, in a trip that took in major enterprises and cultural landmarks in the region. Participating in the tour was HKMU Honorary Doctor and alumna Dr Katie Shu Sui-pui, whose Katie Shu Sui Pui Charitable Trust funded the tour.
Talk of the Metropolis: Ir Dr Ted Suen Yiu-tak
The last of the year's Talk of the Metropolis series featured as speaker Ir Dr Ted Suen, then Executive Director for Digital Mobility at NEOM, Saudi Arabia. Dr Suen offered his insights into the role of digital technology in revolutionising the future of mobility.
